For a place thickly populated with Indians, Fremont is your best bet! Look for apartments close to BART..that way you will have access to multiple shopping outlets. Rents are usually in the range of 1300-1600 for a 2 BHK. Read up reviews on apartments before you finalize..Good luck with the move! Hope you like it here..:)

It seems like you have a READY to school going kid. If so, you may want to consider the Oakridge Apartments
all the details are up to date on their web site oakridge-apts.com
There are two nice schools for these apts (Laurelwood and Eisenhower) . Call the Apt manager for more details...

I would say rent for good apt in fremont will cost $1300 and upwards and 2 BH will cost $1650 and up. I am talking about good apt complexes ( like avalon, mission peaks etc). Apartments close to BART will also run in the same price range. Good thing about Fremont. There are lot of indian restaurants, shops etc.

Dear Ladies, this is Vidya from Seattle,my husband is about to accept an offer from PwC..and now hunting for apartments near his office(488 Almaden Blvd, San Jose).

I have found three 3 apartment communities nearby to be decent (Hidden Willow, 1776 Apts and The Woods)..

Anyone live nearby and have any recommendations please? We have a 12 month old. We're okay to live in other areas as well..may be within 12-15 mile radius.

    Thx- Vidya
