I use cuisinart FP, very useful but u cannot do all indian chutneys , indian style stuff which is done in sumeet/preethi mixie.
Things i do with FP:
mix chappathi dough, poori dough.
(also spinach chapathi , first i chop the spinach and then add the atta, other veggie chappathi)
mix bread dough
grate veggies like carrot, beetroot, cabbage, very fast and easy when i have guests. now i mostly make such items only when ihave guests as it is faster than chopping other veggies for curries.
Slices veggies like carrots, cucumbers, chillies, french cut beans etc.(sometimes slices are not perfect, depends on how u position the veggies but i dont mind it, better than manual)
grind aama vadai, such type batters, paruppu usili etc.
also there is juicer attachements but i have a separate juice , so bought FP without this attachment as it is cheaper this way to buy separtely.
I also have a braun 4 in 1 ( beater, dough kneader, stick blender and chopper)
which works great for small work, to blend soup, dhal directly in the hot pan.
the mincer works great for salsa, mincing small amt of veggies, especially great for cutlets/ mango thokku etc. i make 2 to 3 batches of mango thokku with this chopper.
egg beater works great for whipping icing, eggs, pudding, cakes etc.
I also have a julliene peeler which works great for garnishing, cutting thin strips of carrots for noodles and fried rice and also for soups.

Chaaral. | Chaaral, most of the mall would have this "As seen of TV" shops or chinese shops that sells these gadgets.. Not all megastores carry them - like bed, bath& beyond, marshalls homegoods etc..
other best option is to buy it online - amazon is the best.. you can check out the reviews of the products before making a choice too.

Hi,
I started using this very compact & handy machine called Suruchi Insta Chopper and I swear by it. It is designed on the same lines as the bullet shown on teleshopping shows. The ones that you need to hold down for a few seconds & you're done. Being using the same one for over 1.5 yrs & its working fine. Chopping is so effortless with it.
Cost me just 800 bucks... defenitely worth it.
Cheers!!!
