I do not where u can get it in India. Do a googel search and see if the metros in India have FS shops. I know they have it in Chennai, likewise most metros should have FS shops. In NYC, u get all FS stuff at the China town. |

Instead of spreading the rock salt all over, specailly since we'll be walking abt., I'd advise u to put it into disposable open containers and leave it at all the corners of the house for 24 hrs. and then dispose it. It absorbs all negative energy in the house. When u move into a new house, then u could sprinkle it all over and before moving in vaccum the whole thing off. But even then, if it is carpet, i'd advise u to to put into containers. Salt water cure is usually used according to Flying star FS, and this reading is done every year (according to Chinese New year, which begins by 4th or 5th of Feb.), and there will be 2 or 3 directions that have afflictions each year, meaning there will be some negative areas, and Salt water cure is placed in that area to ward off the negativity. This year it is South and North west. |

| Hey, I would be interested in Feng Shui tips too. Even I would like to know about wind chimes , if they have to be in a particular position. Right now they are right behind my main door and i love the ringing sound everytime there is someone coming in ...let me know if I should alter the arrangement. Also I have a Laughing Budhha keychain for my home keys, is that allright? Thanks and looking fwd!

Like I mentioned the Salt water cure is used in areas afflicted by soem stars, according to Flying Star FS. This year it is the N/W and the South. So if u want to use Salt water cure in these areas, this is how u go about it. Take a container, small, without lid. I usually use jam bottles. Put 1/3 rock salt, 6 chinese coins and fill it with water, not to the brim though. The coins, the head should be facing up. Leave it on a disposable plate, since after a few days the salt will start cystallizing on the mouth of the bottle, and u do not want it to drop in the house. When u dispose it off, be careful as to not touch the salt, and dispose it off very far ffrom home. Last edited by ANK; 30th April 2008 at 08:58 AM. |

If the windchimes are metal, the ideal place for it would be the N/W , west or even North. If it is wood, place it in the S/E or East. The keychain is a like a good luck charm, so its perfectly fine! |

I usually use a glass bottle (jam bottle), coz the crystallized salt holds on to it better. U can dispose it off depending on how much it crystallizes and how fast. Like I find mine crystallizes at the mouth of the bottle in 2 to 3 mths. time, and thats the time I carefully dispose it off. U DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE THE SALT! U just put it once, and once it crystallizes on the mouth of the bottle, dispose it without touching the salt. |
