Hello Diana,
Try to first go for a nice bed in a bedroom. Hang a beautiful picture above the head so that you can see it regularly after waking up. Try a nice bright bed sheet. Illuminate the room properly. Put a nice carpet on the floor if possible red colored. Also keep a flower base near your bed where you can keep daily fresh roses.For the windows in the room, try to use good colored curtains. You can put up jute wall hangings or terracotta wallhangings( u get them in india) not very expensive also. you can try and put a false partition., if it is allowed, and divide into bedroom and living room.you get these papyrus paintings which are nbeautiful, put them up. I have two in my living room. They are not very expensive here in the middle east.

You find those wall hangings in gurjari, rajasthan or delhi emporiums. I have heard there is a jute council shop in chennai let me check out..

Higher end version is available at home centre also...
