Good places to buy pooja mantap in bangalore

I dont know what type of mantap u are looking for.If you are looking at a rosewood mantap.. go to Govt. emporium Cauvery Emporium on MG Road,There are these marble mantap which can be found in wilson Garden area.. and the other ordinary mantap... some of which i have seen in Jayanagar, around the complex area. Good luck.

Hi there,

In this i have done a research to find the good mantapa, here are the places to visit and have a look on i,e
1) kalanjali ( near to total mall in sarjapur road)
2) near Iscon temple i,e entrance of the nandhini layout, i,e entering from the west of chord road
3) kauveri emporium

infact i heard that there are good mantap available in chellakeri near shimogga,

please check, if you need further details let me know.

hey... if u wanna buy a good and very well crafted mantaps then do buy it mysore... u get it for a cheaper price better wood quality better work...but at cheaper price... when i thought of buying a mantap i almost searched in whole bangalore but prices were very high... since we are basically from mysore... went there and got a superb piece for rs.18000/- (rose wood , full of art work) these are the ppl who actually craft the mantap and then they sell it to big wood emporiums... for the same piece when i inquired in mysore and bangalore wood showrooms they said that it'l cost around 38-40k.... where is 18 and where is 40??

I would like to buy a small wooden puja mantap for my home. When I enquired in a few furniture shop, they are selling it for Rs 4500 (least price). Also the size is big. I request fellow ILites from Bangalore to suggest me some shops/ carpenters for this, preferably around Banaswadi.

I have got my pooja mantap done from Thippasanrdra.
He does carving work.
I found Cauvery and Sarjapur one very very ...extremely costly.
This fellow did it very nicely and my own design.
Also I bought the Brass Idols from Dhaatu Brasswares in Bangalore .Their price was 1/4 the price of Cauvery and Maheen and Eka and 10000 pictures catalogue for IDOLs to choose from..I am extremely Satisfied by this brass idols(Couriered without hassles to my home also I picked from exhibition by them) and wood carving from thippasandra..
