    Hi,

When we buy shirts or saree, there is usually a paper inside the cloth. We can fold the paper and keep it under our oil cans.It will absorb the oil that spills after use. This way the shelf and the kitchen top will be clean.

Will write more, if something comes to my mind

    Regards,
    Yamuna.

    Hi yamusarna,

can you believe ....being a stingy artist as I am....I save these papers and use them for tracing the sketches on to my drawing boards.! It sure costs a lot to buy good quality tracing sheets. The good part is that I don't buy lots of stuff at my place, but my daughter saves each and everyone of them...Oh! she always buys something or other!.and sends across.Big LaughCan anyone come up with ideas to make my artistic life more stingy :biggrin2:?????Thanks in advance.
    :thankyou2:

    Hi prabha,

you can use the beautiful duppatas as screens or as table cover. or you can give lining and stitch maxies for your daughter.

Or you can put them on the 'kulu padi'

    Hi,
This is really wonderful threa. Some from me.

    1) After sharpening pencil dont throw away the peal, Try to to make flowers and stick them on charts or decorate greeting cards. its good exercise for children.

    2) Dont throw away nailpolish which are old and which have become little hard and cannot be applied. Use these for coloring shapes for greeting cards, they will shine and look beautiful.

    3) while constructing houses or building, we get lot of cement bags, dont throw them wash them properly, cut one long side and one short side for all bags, stich them like mats or curtains , and do piping with some other cloth, they can be used as door curtains, for sitting or sleeping, or when ever we go out they can be used as mats and if we forget also no problem and less in weight to carry, try to do some patch work with some cloth or embroidery with wool will look more beautiful. we can make carry bags by putting some lining inside.

    Thanks,
    Ambika
