Kindly let me know what type of embrodery threads do you use for stiching in saree and salwars.
I normally buy anchor embroidery threads. But after a certain period the color of the thread becomes dull.
Please guide me.

Regards,
Uma

Dear Prabha,

Do you do hand wash of the embroidered cloth. Does the color of the thread become so dull after a period.

Do you know aari work? I am very much interested in it. I saw many threads in this website related to aari work. But I want to know the basic thing how to put a knot in the needle and hold the needle. Also how they do sequence bead works.

Regards,
Uma

Hi uma,

If it ia a good material I give it for dry cleaning.

if it is hand washed the colour of the thread becomes dull after sometime.
