Workshops in Chennai - Block Printing

hi friends,
can some body tell where i can learn this block printing in chennai

there is a shop in ranganathan st..named ramlok...they do good job...this is their contact no i had in my diary ..044-24345697..i'm not sure whether they r still in that phone no..

i misread ur post as doing block print...i dont think ramlok teaches...

i dont knowif ramlok teaches, but they have shifted to adyar in the ambika appalam dept road opp the nalli shop! actually u can chk in kalaskshetra, they might teach!

hi......... ramlok does not teach there is one branch even in mylapore i knoe 3 to 4 people taking orders for printing sarees but i want to learn it if somebody could suggest a happy place preferably in and around mylapore i shall be

I know a place in nungambakkam where I learnt block printing. It is run by a lady & she teaches batik & tie & dye as well. It is near jagannathan street.

I used to go there 5 yrs ago, now I don't have her no. but it is in nungambakkam a short distance from lister lab if you know the area.I can guide you to her address if you PM me
