Hi andal,
we were not "block printing" It is "screen printing". Yes you can print any photo but preparing the screen will cost you a little over 1000/- since you need 4 screens for 1 pic.

hi vidu & meyyammai great that you both were able to attend the screen printing course!!! vidya, you can use that technique and screen print the tanjore designs on glass - at a reasonable rate for friends, found out that they charge rs.150/- for 1 glass + design - size 8"x10"!!!! great, now you can use the technique and do something innovative in embroidery!!! will positively come to both your houses to see your creations! especially wanted to see meyyammai's unit!

great idea. I will see how feasible it is. we basically wanted to use the idea in embroidery. I too very much want to visit meyyammai's unit. we have planned it for the coming weekend. Hope to make it at least now after so many postponements

reg screens (not blocks) of course they sell the screens & even make it it for us on specific designs.

hi su..........how r u? settled and back to normal our idea of this screen printing is to use it in aari embroidery do come to my house next time wen u visit india
