Hi Meyammai,

Raja thread house is condusting a textile printing workshop today and tomorrow 25&26 feb at Valluvarkottam between 9 - 4:30. The fees is 1000 Rs per head.

Hi Meiyammai, you can check in Sree seva mandir, Saligramam. They conduct classes in summer and you can try in department of handloom and textiles in besant nagar i am sure they do conduct classes.

Department of handloom and textile, besant nagar they are professionals and u can learn how they do commercially n fees is also quiet reasonable than others.

Hi,
Did anyone attend the printing classes conducted at Valluvar Kottam? Please share your experience.
my cousin did attend it (as I was unable to go) & found it very good. They taught screen printing in different type, to create stencils & the method of various printing on a professional level.
It would be nice to know from others their view.

Myself and meyyammai got together & learnt textile screen printing for the past two days at choolaimedu. It is very nice course & we enjoyed it very much. will post the pics soon.

hi archana.......raja thread house is not conducting it archanah academy in choolaimedu is conducting it inno.26 manoj villa zackharia main rd, it is good they finished one course on april1st and 2nd myself and vidhya(vidhu29)attended it and we had real fun they are having their next classes on april 4th and 5th in ther same venue u can try that......ph.no 9994124589

Wow!! Thts lovely. Can u post details of the course? What all was taught? How many teachers/students? Pictures of the things that you did? What all kinds of printing did you learn? Costs? Gees, I am so so excited! Thanks a lot Meyammai and Vidhya! You both are angels! And yes - I will call that number. I wont be able to attend this week, going out of town!
