| I don't remember the name of a shop I find particularly very good, let me give you the direction. As you enter Raja market and take the first right turn, you see Bombay Stores. This store sells wool and good quality cone thread, something I use regulary for kutch work, and kamal embroidery. The adjascent shop is the one I am talking about; you get very good stuff for embroidery, kundan work and craft work. |

| Of hand I can think of Ravi crafts, off Commercial street, Surya Emporium on Narayan Pillai street, Pydal Novelties on Narayan Pillai street, Ramdev fancy stores in Nagaraja complex in Raja Market, Patel fancy stores in Jayanagar near the complex, Vinayaka stores in Jayanagar.
