Dear Visalam,
Very nice explanations.
I never used the cotton.
Now this seems to be a new procedure.
I will try it out.

Thumbs up re: Craft Works :Chinese Ceramic Instructions

Dear Viji mam,
Cotton gives a nice hold and it will never crack. mainly for Flowers, leaves and for for decorative pieces like Bonsai, it is better to use cotton.
thank you,
visalamkrishnan

Dear Visalam Maam

Thanks for posting the procedure. I had done this kind of work some 4 - 5years back and had forgotten the proportion in which the mixture had to be prepared. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing.

I was looking around for the ratio & procedure & mighty glad got it soon

I had done gone shoppping to get some craft stuffs, & wanted to get ceramic powder, but wasn't able to do so. Could you tell me which kind of shop will have it - those who sell hardware or paints? I had been to a builders/constructing material shop. He had plaster of paris & told me that we can use plaster of paris for crafts too. I was confused whether to take that or ceramic powder.

What is the difference between plaster of paris & ceramic powder?

Awaiting you answer!

Dear Visalamkrishnan,

Thanks a lot for such an interesting way to make ceramic flowers. This is quite different from the conventional method we use. But I am little confused about the cotton net step. Can u please elaborate or paste some pics for it. Actually want to know how thick this net should be and how can it be mixed by just beating. Will it give a finished look or will it be unseen in the finished flower. Your pics will surely make us understand it better.. Please consider..

Thanks,

Deepali
