Embroidery : Work on Saree

Hi all,
I have started doing this work on a plain georgette saree. Have completed half of one border. But was very curious to show you people as this is my first work. So posting it before completing. Here i would like to thank all ILites. Because I have not attended any classes for embroidery. Have not done anything of this sort before. So all my work is based on the instructions and tips given by ILites only. A special thanks to Raji mam.

a small suggestion add kundans at the centre of flower if u like

What a work!!! It is very nice. The color combination is also too good. What is the stitch ,u have used for leaves? How many days did u take? and how did u trace?? Keep going ,very nice indeed!!!!!

Thank you Nithya.I have used fishbone stitch for the leaves. I have completed only half of one of the borders. This took 8 days, But i worked only 2 to 3 Hours everyday. For trace I used tracing paper and carbon paper.

Wow !!! Its really hard to believe that this is ur first work........... Too good.. Keep it up. What is the stitch used for stems? And what is the thread type r they cone thread?

Thank you karthi.. its stem stitch for stems.. you are right... its cone thread....
