Few more works:

I have used the designs i get in the net and adapted it accordingly.

I am always more satisfied when i do doilies. the intricate web of threads that come to look so nice when completed.
The pineapple doilies, is y all time favorite. thinking of doing it with the ordinary spool thread. hubby dear says no, because of strain on eyes.

The carrot bookmark is for my son, to remind him that he has to eat a lot of carrots. He is behind me to make a book mark like a cricket bat. hope to make it before his b'day.

Coming to the ear rings my daughters string of artificial pearls broke. so got this design from the net. used the same color. it is a real favorite one of hers.
but kind of big. so is now in storage.

This doily i have made 4 of them to present my friends here as i am leaving by this month end.

My tablecloth project is going very slowly. with too many loose ends to tie down.

Will post some later.

Thanks. i made the ear ring, after i picked up the idea from a magazine. i think you may find it on the net also. I have some ideas buzzing in my mind. dont have the raw materials. will try out and post as soon as i buy them in chennai.

will post the sites. System had crashed. so the favorites folders with link is gone.:icon_frown: so will post. if you have any thing in particular you can ask. will post.

even our dear old needle and thread magazine has beautiful crochet/knitting patterns. I have been collecting books on knitting and crochet. i do adapt them according to what i want to do.

crochet is really great.but time consuming when you are trying out using the thin cotton work and frustating when you dont get it right.
The earrings were just a try. you can make rubberbands, great design on hairclips and the number of bags you can make,the sweaters,....

Most of the time i feel bad because i am reproducing the work of somebody. may be someday, i will create more of my own.
I have missed learning tatting. the designs look more enticing. (personal opinion)

I got hooked into knitting/crochet/embroidery during school days when it used to be taught for art/supw classes.
