Remember these when you are trying out murals.

2. Mix chalk powder/ceramic in equal levels

3. Dont forget to give a coat of varnish.

I would advise to start with a small one, like the Venki one. This will take only about 20 mins to do. And is a ideal gift. Last year, We gave these, mural mirrors and my hand-made jewellery only as gifts for navarathri!! it was so pretty, and everyone loved it. One more good thing, I am sure no one will 'pass the parcel' with it!!

yeah sure archana. I'll keep your points in mind.. Am thinking of starting embroidery work on saree too. All because our ILites inspiration. It helps improve my talent. to talented ILites like you.

The two mural paintings that you first posted are excellent.i am sure most of the talented ladies of IL were inspired to try this out.
Hope you wont be offended when i say that the 'vaastu mural' looks quite complicated with too much sheen and dark metallic colours.But the effort taken to do such an elaborate work is really remarkable.Thanks a lot for the procedures too..

Hey Sumitha,

Yeah True. The colours were dark. Also, the sheen is much better when done in smaller pieces. However, this one looked very nice when hung on a plain white wall.
