KUTCH WORK salwar

Hi Raji,

The salwar is too good with the Kutch work.
You have done a wonderful job.

What is the type of thread you used for this work? same as Kamal kadai thread or different? Should this kutch be done only on cotton or thick based material or what? Because the thread work seems to be heavy. Please clarify.

xcellent work thanks for sharing is the thread used is cone thread which we use for kamal stitch

thank u verymuch.
thread i used is PEARL COTTON only---same as kamal kadai thread.
kutch ban b done on any material.i'm planning 2 do kutch on a silk salwar 4 ammu '
as the thread work is a type of weaving; i think it cud b done on any material.

a good institute is there at ernakulam . it's name is GOLDEN FINGERS .
i've studied all these items frm that institute.

wat do u mean by cone thread ? is it the thread woven in cone shape.

it is the same thread which v use 4 kamal stitch. here it is known as PEARL COTTON.
