Paintings : Glass , Canvas , Velvet Cloth Paintings

Dear ILites,

Thank you one and all for your continuous support and encouragement. When my scribbles have got some attention; I just thought I would portray my scribbles (color splashes ?) on glasses too !! Hope you will like them and key-in your comments here !!

These are some of my glass paintings:

(1) Its a blend of fruits and flowers which is on a Reverse Glass

(2) Next is a closer view of the Blend

(3) Color splash Donald

(4) Its Radha and Krishna (the features did not come well and yet to paint the same, outline I drew myself by referring to a magazine)

Here are my other works too add on !!!

(1) Canvas Painting (since canvas absorbs both color and water, one should be very careful in using or painting over a canvas : which I did not know while doing the same; and hence the usage of wrong shades and some faded strokes :()

(2) A complete view of the above canvas which was decorated with Chamkees

(3) A velvet cloth painting (I shall take a picture of the framed one and attach later !!)

Hi Ramyavaradharajan,

You have an artistic hand, and I wish you nurture it by doing many more such works.I especially like your Radhakrishna, it is nice and you can sure paint it.I am no expert in canvas painting,but, next time, you apply a coat of thinned white color (a little of oil + color) or gesso on the canvas and let it dry.Painting on it later will preserve your colors well.
And another humble suggestion.For the convas paintings, if you refrain from elaborate and grand borders and simply frame it, your painting will glow, Now the other decorations outshine the beauty of the painting itself.Hope you don't mind suggesting this.
