I had used normal drawing pencils of different range for those sketches as they were my primary drawings !! But once your hand on it, then you might go in for a variety of shades and strengthen the shades too, say like 2B, 4B and all.. I had used normal A4 sheets only, but the sheets have faded in the due course of time  !! I should agree that I did not preserve them properly !Regrads with Love RamyaVaradharajan NB: There are many expert artists here in IL, am an amateur in this area.
