hi all,

well im 23yrs old married woman..Actually i m from delhi but now shifted to mumbai..i m into art n crafts n paintings n all..apart from that i m abt to finish my LLB from delhi...i always wanted to settle as an art n craft teacher..from past 2.5yrs i was giving classes for DANCE, ART n CRAFTS to kids n ladies..but when i got shifted to mumbai i had leave all that..i m very upset abt it.but i want to settle in mumbai the way i was in delhi..i have learnt many professional paintings..But as i m new to mumbai its getting dificult for me to decide anything..i have two options one is that start my own classes smwhere.n the other one is that i join any good institute or school as an art n craft n dance teacher..i m happy with both..but the problem is that i m not able to find out any good institute or school...SO BASICALLY I M VERY TENSED THESE DAYS N NOT AT ALL HAPPY...

It is natural to feel the way you do.To leave all you have worked for and to start everything anew is a very tough thing to do.But remember "tough times do not last, but tough people do"!!Sorry I am not in Bombay, and you certainly will hear from many Mumbaites, since people reach out to others in this community real fast.But I can say that Mumbai doesn't fall behind in providing opportunities, and that too, in your departments.What I would suggest is that you acquaint yourself with your neighbours first and let them know your proficiency and then everything will follow.Very soon you will find what you are seeking..Good luck

welcome to IL. with so much of talents u need not feel disheartened.
arts and crafts lovers everywhere. only thing is u need little to acquaint with the new surroundings. If there is any arts and crafts shop nearby u can leave ur address and the works taught by u with them. they wil hlp by displaying that. also I suggest u put some board in front of ur house or flat. during vacation time so many parents put their children in craft classes
