Hi reenu,
Since I was also curious to know further, i did some 'look up' in the internet and came up with these. As far as I know, a 'mystic' is one who is who is earning to realise God or pure consciousness. We call him a 'yogi' in indian terms. With this in mind any art creation can be called a 'mystic art'...and may be our 'tantra art' is one.In western culture, celtic art, illumination ,calligraphy, and presently tattoos with dragons and what not. This is as far as I can gather, there may be some more.certainly am curious to know as you are, and wish to know any you come across.
in wikipedia, there is no explanation for 'mystic art' but is for 'mystic'.am giving below some material that I found.
Code:
Greek μυστικός – mystikos- 'seeing with the eyes closed, an initiate of the Eleusinian Mysteries; μυστήρια – mysteria meaning "initiation"[1]) is the pursuit of achieving communion, identity with, or conscious awareness of ultimate reality, divinity, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition, or insight.
