Embroidery : Hand Embroidery Works

its done using herring bon stitch.
it is done on the reverse side of the cloth in such a way that its shadow is seen on the correct side.for this particular work i have used organza cloth with satin lining,cutdana,beads,sequins,silk embroidery thread.

Do we have to iron the kantha worked saree every time? How do I wash it? How much is the cost?

hello ramya,

thank you verymuch.
bottom and duppatta are also white.bottom material is satin and duppatta is crushed chiffon.
completely WHITE with silver color ornaments studded with white stones looks beautiful.
i've done this for ammu for an evening reception.

hello,
we can iron it at a low temperature.
handwash the sari at home .
plain tusser silk costs rs. 125/- per meter.
