Dear Mam,

Thanks for showing me the border part of the saree. It is so kind of you sharing so many designs along with the work piece.

What is the idea behind using the same colour for the leaves and the flower?
Just to minimise the number of colours?

Thanks,
Pinky.

dear pinky,
i like only sober colours ;
if we use different shades for leaves and flowers it will look more gaudy.
regards raji.

hello,
thanks a lot.
it's very easy to trace on a tusser material.we can keep the design under the material and draw on the right side.
raji.

Good job.

I've got many sarees made at vimlalayam for my MIL. She is crazy about hand embroidered sarees.
