Greetings to all you Creative Ladies out there!

Was just surfing this section of Indusladies and am indeed humbled and envious to view all your lovely creations of crafts. Kudos! to all of you because being a creative person is gods gift and that gift should not be wasted but nurtured. You gals are lucky to have talented people conducting all kinds of craft classes of the ethnic kind. Here in Malaysia we have to go with the flow i.e. contemporary and they are very limited. I have always had a passion for all things Indian be it fashion, home decor, crafts etc. Keep churning these lovely crafts. Don't you people have some outlet or fair where you can promote and perhaps sell your works and make some pocket money for yourself in the process? Over here we have what we call a Flea Market normally held over the weekend where you can rent a booth or stall and sell your stuff. Its a great way of promoting your works, earn an income and make new friends. Just a suggestion here, why don't you start a similar one in your town. Its just a matter of finding a venue which could even be in your courtyard etc. set up some booths and charge a nominal rate and throw some flyers by way of advertisement and then its all systems go!

Hope I have not offended any of you by the above suggestion. Please take it in good faith.

Actually v don't have such places in Chennai........the one part is v have to create a platform for our own...........
