bead knitting you use beads in the knitting. mostly done for bags, pouches and all..

There are two types one where you put the beads in the wool at intervals and use the thread for knitting. so they are inbetwen the stitches in the pattern itself.

another method, the beads on top of the knitting...and sometimes the knitted pattern is hidden by the beads....

AnithaA,

I made it long back and had presented it to my niece. Don't know if she has it also....

I just followed the pattern in a book i had....for a purse..but modified it for a shoulder bag as i did not get the metal frame to use for a clip purse..

hai friends,

sometime only the neck and sleeve are done in patterns from the cross stitch books, and one can do this even for the tops for girls, the base should be black and gold mixed wool or any other shining stuff now buy the pearl beads of a considerable medium size or tear drop kind and insert the beads into the wool thread as much as 60 to 100nos and only start after you have decreased for the sleeve in the front to the neck and then after dividing too u can work with these beads just inserting one on a knit and a gap of 10 stitches which will help it space out, increase the stitches or decrease according to your size of bead, try to match the background wool if you are doing it with a lighter wool...sunkan
