Hi All,

Am radhika and i recently moved to chennai. I need to know some details.
Does anybody know where i can get all kinds of beads at affordable rates in chennai. Its not only seed beads, i need all other kinds like lampwork beads etc...

Also i need to know if fancy hand knitting yarns are available in chennai, if yes in what stores.

Does anybody know a good tailor in areas around selaiyur, East tambaram.

Hi Radhika!

When I lived in Chennai, I used to buy beads for my jewellery in a shop near 'tana' street near egmore. The name of the shop eludes me but there were lots of such stores in a small lane off 'tana' street. Its close to purasawalkam high road.

There is a small lane, that goes next to textile india store in renganathan street. just go into that, and ask anyone for RAJA stores. They have all materials.

Where are you in Selaiyur? Anyhow you have one lady tailor in Kamarajapuram.
Opposite to bustop you can find one big white colour bungalow. Adjusent house is
that tailor house. All are ladies tailors.
