thanks joshia . i havent learned any painting.i simply traced the designs and painted it.i know tht is traditional style of painting and i would like to know more abt it but v dont hve any centre for studies.

thanks nitya.since i belong to kerala and am residing here.i hve bought it from trivandrum(local stores in the market here.) it cost abt 150 to 200 per saree(approx).i dont know where u will get in other parts of india.u ask any shop for plain cotton sarees(they may hve it).if want to know the store here thn ramachandras,novelty,vishnuram are 3 stores i know.

Hi Drisya,

i have only done the pallu part in ellaborate ( that is the picture i have show). the rest of the sari has smaller design. actually i drew the design, then made a stencil out of it. this way i could reuse the design for later.

hi shobie...i tried to make stencil but i failed (mine, get tored every time i try to create) .can u suggest some tips for making stencil.what type of cutter do u use for cutting the stencil and how to do it(if possible)
