Thanks for the response. Even I was taken aback when I was searching for designer blouses. I have a plain dark salmon (they call it as naval pazha color in tamil) chiffon saree. I am planning to attach 1/2" zardosi border and would like to desgn an embroidered blouse in half white color. Does that sounds good. Any trendy ideas are most welcome!

You should use a white (in silk) with combination of the saree colour and give it a triangular lap at the back. Both the colours should be visible. Keep your sleeve megyar with a v shape. For this pattern neck has to be deep Square at the back and V in front. The cut should be closer to your shoulder and not to your neck. Zardosi border is not very trendy. Dear, I am good at designing clothes so have taken the plunge in advising you. You have the liberty to ignore.

Leave your sari plain. Make your blouse trendy it will suffice.
