Hi Shanvy
Thanx for liking them.
The 1st card is quilling which has to be done with coloured paper u cut ur choice of coloured paper strips around .5cms or even less if u wish and u get a quilling needle in case u don't have it' u can take a thick needle roll the paper(it should be slight thick paper) on that remove it from the needle and let it go loose and stick the outer end with the glue and give what ever shape u wish to give and stick them together.

Emboridery one you can choose any design u want and put holes at equal distance and have to pass the thread in such a fashion that it forms a net.
I hope you can follow it. If not will help you with it, it is very easy.

Beautiful cards, Aruna.

In the US, I have seen Quilling to be a big time hobby and quilling papers and tools are available at most craft stores.

Hi Nivedi
Yes it is outside India I have learnt this in Australia. I have no idea if we get it in India. As with the quilling tools it is very easy to make, and they look so beautiful.

Hello everyone
Just elobrated little more on quilling on request, by Anusha. So thot will share the same with all of you too.
You get chart paper in differenct colours right. So make a marking of .5cm width and about 6 to 7 cms in length. So this becomes a quilling paper.
Or any other colour paper which is a bit stiff so that when you roll it, it forms a beautiful coil.
1. Put the end of the quilling paper on the needle and roll it gentle on the needle, guiding the paper on to it by letting it run through the thumb and index finger do not roll it too tight
or too loose you will need a little practise.
2. When you finish rolling the piece remove it from the needle and let the coil on a flat surface you will see it relax like a watch spring.
3. Take the coil in your hand gently and apply a little glue at the open end. and simply close it, and allow it to dry for 2 minutes
4. Then take the coil in your hand after it is dried and give any shape you want like teardrop, petal, eye, square, rectangle or any shape you wish to give and then glue it on the plain card making any designs you wish.
If you make the length of the paper more longer can even make butterflies for the kids B'day cards, but thw width should be the same.
