I haven't been there nor checked out the availability. Hope this helps those who are in Chennai.

Cheers

Hi Prabha
Revathi has put up here that you get in Chennai. In case if you don't get you can use coloured paper, it should not be very thick, it should be foldable easily.
cut them into thin strips and can do it.

Hi Aruna

Just like you, I enjoy making cards for the pure fun I get out of it and never for one second with the thought of making money. When I first started making cards I used to given them away to friends until they all protested and refused to accept them unless they paid me. It was and still is embarassing. But one of my friends who also taught me a little about handmade cards told me that I should take it as the money to buy the material to make more cards! I dont work and I use my husband's money to buy the materials which is the main reason I sell them. Whatever money I make goes on buying more materials to make cards and not on myself.

I am in the process of making my website for my cards. I would appreciate any info on how to put the pictures(taken from a digital camera) as thumbnails that are just a few kb. How did you put your card pictures in your mails ? All my card pictures are 2 mb or more !

I read your quote in your profile and I liked it a lot as I think the same !

Thank you. You are an inspiration !

Hi cute deeps
Thanks for the information as I have heard from many friends here from india we don't get but now a days in some of the places we are getting the quilling paper.
For cards I have used ready made plain cards but you can use chart paper and with the help of some old card can take the measurement and cut it.

Hi Mukil
Yes I know we need money to buy materials, and I can understand even I am a house wife like you so get some time to do all these things.

Ok dear will tell you about the reducing the picture so that u can add here. having a website of your own wow that is a great idea All the Best for that.
Reducing the picture click on the picture you want to reduce a window will open there you have to put in the size of the picture that you want and click ok and the picture will get reduced and saved in the same file of the pictures
then you can download them here when you click on post reply or you can start a new thread of your own too, below you will see manage attachment click on that, a window will be opened click on browse, picture file will be opened click on the reduced picture and then ok you will come back to the previous window and there click on upload and wait until your picture gets downloaded. In one post you can download 5 pictures, you need to do the same method. everytime. Hope you have understood and be able to do so.
I am going on holidays today so will get to see your work only after I come back.
Will be back by end of August.
Till then enjoy your stay in IL hope you are liking it here.
Till then Keep posting and will come back and have a look at them.
