Hmm first I will wish all of you a very happy and a prosperous Onam. Next though I am foodie still I love the floral decoration people display during the Onam festival. During my child hood we had around a major chunk of our neighbours to be from kerala and during my college days was blessed with wonderful friends who hail from Kerala whom I join to go to their home town during Onam and had enjoyed the Onam sadya.
Last few years couldnt get a chance to visit Kerala on Onam eve.

Thus arised this thread so that I can see all of your wonderful pookalam just on logging in to this thread. I am sure you will not let me down. Though I had helped few of my neighbours in their work of pookalam I never had been creative in designing them, but I know lots of ILites are highly talented.
