Default Wants to learn cot embroidery in Madurai!

Hi
I am looking for someone who can teach cot embroidery in Madurai in a short period of time as I will be visiting India durinng december, for few week. I already knew free hand, kasuti, kamal kadai, kutchi emb.. etc.. At the same time as I am a NRI, is there anyway to buy the cot in a mini version so that it can also travel with me :) I have only heard about cot embroidery but no clue about that! What are the speciality stitches we can do with that?
Regards
Lilly07

Lilly if it is coat embroidery as sunkan says than use google. otherwise, if you are referring to what i am describing, a cot is used as a frame for embroidery on sarees, and also to do zardosi work. I have seen one recently being used in a tailor shop. I am not sure of a short version of the same.

Hi this aari work taught in cuddalore also. If you spend one month they will teach you.If you are intrested I'll give you the address. In cuddalore, that aari work basic will practice by the ordinery embroidery ring. Then we will learn the method, after we'llwork the cot. So that method is very easy to learn.

Thanks kanchi for your info. Since it is very difficult to stay and learn in Cuddalore/Chennai, I am particular in learning in MDU.
