It is called " maggam work " . It is very famous in Hyderabad. A different type of needle is used. It is a beautiful work .
I think they teach in " mridulas school" . No clue about madurai.

But u need a cot for doing the " maggam work".

There should be some one in Madurai who teaches that.

I was in MDU for 3 yrs but not heard about any such classes.
