That is a great news. Could you please send me the details? I tried buying embroidery threads from a shop near temple...one north indian "lal" guy. Don't remember that shop's name. It is near the temple and a "bata" shop. Again for machine embroidery thread, I bought them at USHA/POPULAr shop.

I was searching for a nice gold/silver threads which are used in aari work, b'cos teh anchor brand thread comes off after few stitches. Do you know where to get them?

Aari Work looks so pretty. I have seen people do it. I am not really into embroidery, and dont think I can do a great job in it too. But I love it. So, i have given a new saree to a lady, near my house who does aari work. She has a unit in nellore where they do this work and get it back. I will try and ask her if she knows someone in Madurai.
