Sinus Headache

Anyone having sinus headache and how you are coping with it.
What is the best way to prevent it.
Could anyone please write about it.

I also used to get sinus headaches a lot. But now I am doing alternate nose
breathing exercises(pranayama) and it reduced. I am not using any sinus
decongestants any more.

sinus headache is different from migrane. but yoga can help in both migrane and sinus headache. you cantry for alternate nose breathing as suggested by madhu11.

This is every effective method to remedy the both. Practice pranayama for 10 to 15 min daily and you will see the change yourself.

I too suffer from sinus problem quite often, but homeopathy has helped me a lot in overcomming it. i also have some spices powdered which is said to cure sinus, i am fwding the recepie u can try hvg it .hope you get little relived.

sonth(dry ginger)-50 gms
pepper - 50 gms
Pipal -50gms
omam/ajwain - 50gms
yestimadhu - 50 gms
palm candy - 50gms
jeera - 50 gms

All the above has to be roasted lightly seperatly,and grind it to a powder.this mixture can be had twicedaily and has been effective in my case

i recently saw in oprah show that you can try using neti pot which they are claiming to be effective, so just give it a try. however dont use cold water. you have to use warm salt water. please check for details in oprah.com i hope u will get more details there.

If you like to buy the neti pot its available in various shop sites on net. and they are also good quality pots. Some sites also provide the salt packets with the pot and also an instruction booklet on how to use the neti pot.

You can easily learn the directions of using it. Neti has shown the good results in treating sinus and headaches.

Neti is done with water to clean the nasal passage. This prevents you form nasal infection and allergies that usually cause sinus.
