Nutritious But very simple Ladoos

    Hi friends,
    Thought of sharing this recipe of simple, but very nutritious ladoos. I often makes this and give to kids.

    i dont have proper measurements, i just make, using this ingredients.


    1 cup ground nut
    1 cup sesame seed
    1/2 cup, almond,
    1/2 cup, cashew nuts
    1/2 oats

    Above items you can use less or more, it is ok.

    Jaggery i used by tasting, i dont have proper measurement for it.

    Roast the above items separately in pan, except jaggery. Cursh jaggery and keep it ready.

    Grind dry all items in mixer, except sesame seed. Grind it separately and then mix it. (it gives out oil, so if you grind it with other items, the other items wont grind properly)

    Lastly,put jaggery and again blend together dry all above items.

    Then take it in big pan, and put 4-5 spoons of pure ghee and start making ladoos. You can take some more ghee as and when require to bind the ladoos, no need to put at one go.

    I give this to kids daily once, it is really very good for health, even for adults.

    wow delicious laddus with almonds and cashews in healthy foods forum.... i may not really try much because of the sesame in it... but will try my hand with little doses - 4 or 5 laddus...

    Hi Radhika!

    I make this very often - easiest Prasad to offer and also nutritious . When I rush to office, on certain days when I dont make Oats porridge, I gulp 3 or 4 laddoos and have milk and go.

    I just love it. I dry roast the ingredients and grind them in mixie including the seasame seeds to coarse texture and then one final round with powdered jaggery and elaichi.

    Oh I love them so much.

    As i posted earlier, no need to have exact measurement, just go ahead and do it. That is the magic of this recipe. :)

    Groundnuts is (peanuts).
