Iron rich foods.

    Ginger & pepper improves digestion. If she is not eating, are you giving her any energy drink in the morning? If so, try to cut down that. In ayurveda you have special arishtams to build up a good appetite. Jaljira & kokam is also good for digestion.

    Even my DD is a fussy eater…..so what I would do is.... paste dates, figs, almonds and carrots and mix it with curd rice....
    She likes curd rice and i use the chance to give her nutritious foods.Harhar

    Hi,

    Here are few iron rich foods

    Spinach
    Any Greens
    Beetroot
    Dates
    Lion Dates srup
    Black urud dal
    Jaggery (vellam in Tamil)
    Red Meat
    Liver

    While taking iron rich food also include Vitamin C, as it absorb iron well.

    thank u ...am new here.... i dont give any kind of energy drinks to her...i discourage it. i dont know if ayurvedic medicines are available here. but i'l enquire here.

    oh...even my daughter loves curd rice...but if i mix something in foods that she likes she wud throw up the moment she puts it in her mouth...she loves fruits...grapes,apple, orange..etc...
