Garden cress seeds are extremely rich in iron.In hindi,it is called halim, in marathi aliv and in tamil it is called ali vidai.

It is given in pregnancy and after the delivery for restoring iron content.
I looked up in the internet and it looks like these seeds are available world wide because its name is given in 71 languages.
One point I would like to highlight here is eventhough we eat all Iron rich foods, our body will observe the Iron, only when we eat food that are rich in Vitamin C. You can consume orange juice/Lemon/Amla along with your breakfast/lunch/dinner to observe the Iron in the food you eat.
