hi shel,
i use corn oil for my normal cooking and for salads dressing i use olive oil. also if i have to do deep frying especially during ramadan, i do it in olive oil only. it doesnt gv that heaviness feeling and no stomach upset nor the unhealthy burps or any sort of indigestion. ive read that olive oil has 0% chlolestrol.

I use Olive Oil for most dishes.. if I have to fry anything for Indian food I use canola oil and add olive oil to it.. for baking I use sunflower oil (no taste, so works great) and I have a sesame oil for asian dishes..
