Me too like dates syrup a lot ...my father is a doctor...so he and my Gynec advised me to consume more dates(natural fruit) rather than these kind of syrups..Coz in dates fibre is the essential part rather than the iron and minerals..So if we have it as it is we consume all goodness in it..Whereas the syrups give us iron alone..They gave me an alternative too..To soak dates in very little luke warm milk..crush(not grind) and combine with food..so that they gel upon like date syrup..Nice idea isn't it

by the way yesterday i got "Complan" mixed fruit and nut corn flakes..It ha sso many dried fruits and nuts..tastes good..felt like addign little sugar but avoided and had happily..

Good to hear that you are trying to keep away from adding sugar . Also thank you for that tip of soaking dates in luke warm milk. I like that idea too.

By complan i meant the brand...Like Kellogs now-a-days Complan too has wide range of breakfast cereals and Muesli..Give a try..Almost all leading stores stock them..I found in Nuts-N-Spices..

400gms 150/- i suppose

Hi Cindhuja,

this is indeed a very good idea. I was using Date syrup for my Muesli breakfast. I'm going to try your method. Thank you.

Avoid Sugar

Drink honey with warm water early in the morning

Avoid carbs - Reduce Rice Intake healthy tiffens rather than meals

If you feel like munching something ..eat a handful of corn flakes or few dates or raisins

Limit your dinner meal...

Never fast...

If possible please walk a lot briskly

For Museli, u can try adding salt instead of sugar - though many prefer sugar, I try to avoid it...
Please donot go for artificial sweetners - anything processed will defnitely do more harm...
Also instead of date syrup, u can soak dates in hot water and blend it lil and use it with cornflakes/museli...
Try to avoid processed foods as much as u can...
