Ami - I add a tblspn of flax powder in oats kanji that we have every morning. I read somewhere that it helps in reducing BP.

You may find these links interesting where some desi recipes have been shared and the health aspects of Flax seeds have been discussed:

Nivedi and rush2kanmani,
Thank you so much for the info on flax seed powder. I have bought flax seed but did not know how to use them. Now I will try to mix the powder in roti atta and also would add to kids milk.

Hi,
Flax seed is good for bone health also because it contains omega 3.
I got flax seed tablets from GNC. Where do you get flax seed powder,
can anybody suggest a store?
