Thumbs down Re: protein information for vegeterians

Hi Senorita,

Chick peas are Channa (hindi) that is Kothukadalai (tamil)

They are excellent source of protein...and we can make plenty of dishes with them.

We can use them in Salads, as channa rice, channa sundal, channa masala, channa batura, also make paste from boiled channa and use them as dips ( after mixing other herbs & spices )...channa can be added in kurmas, gravies and south indian curries too....the list is endless senorita....

Cheers
Krithika( Jithiks)
