| Hi all IL, Can i eat raw sprouted moong dal. pls. let me know.Thanks. kavi. Kavi, you need to give more descriptive titles. The current one that I have given is much better than "need help!". You make IL experience efficient for everyone with good descriptive titles. Last edited by Induslady; 4th December 2007 at 10:45 PM. |

| hi, Any reason for asking this...i mean are you pregnant or nursing or have a gas problem.......if no.. you can definitely use sprouts in your salads...raw....it is highly nutritious.but do clean and wash it before using.....

| You can have thoroughly washed raw sprouted moong. Dash if with finely cut tomatoes, onions, sprinkle chat masala, add boiled and smashed potatoes (optional), few pieces of raisins, few chunks of apple pieces, finely diced carrots, finely diced green chillies and salt with a dash of lime. A full meal by itself. This is my favourite dish.

| Dear Mals, The proof of the pudding is in the eating ! I tried it, more because, you had suggested adding a mashed potato ! That gave such a nice binding to the salad & the salad is delicious ! I did not add raw onions. V is a jain in eating habits - I leave the rest to your imagination ! ![]() With your permission, I plan to post it in my salads thread. Please see the photo posted below. Love, Chits. |

| Dear Chits, You are really GREAT!!!!You read it yesterday, wrote I am going to try it, actually tried it and came back again with a picture of the dish. ![]() ![]() Wow!!! Wish you were appointed to change the face of few afflicted sectors of INDIA. How quick you would be, in taking decisions, implementing it. Common Chits, you don't have to take my permission. Go ahead and post the recipe. Even I love the salad with mashed potatoes. I am feeling so thrilled, that you LIKED MY RECIPE!!! My day is made (its a nice day today for me.. my boss is coming late. I have finished all my assignments). Bye!!!
