Benefits of Oats

    Hi All,

    My second post :)

    I'm having oats for breakfast for the past few days.. I'm keen in knowing if having oats for breakfast will help reduce weight.. I 've been advised that too much of intake of sugar will put on weight and hence I 'm having oats with salt (but along with milk and NOT curd /butter milk :))) though it may sound weird, it tastes really good - taste of some british food and I really enjoy it !! :)

    Any inputs on the benefits of oats in reducing weight?

    Hi dear,

    first you posted this in the wrong forum it should have been in the health forum. Yes oats is good for reducingweight and sugar helps you to increaseweight also curd helps you to increase weight if you have it at night.
    With oats you can have any fruit and also exercise as it will help you in your weight reduction.

    yes oats are good for health as well as weight reduction. that's what i was told. i have oats upma with just a teaspoon of oil(for frying tadka and veggies) for dinner (only one serving). my dh says i'm being too strict but i need to shed so much weight so i ignore him.

    Also, I have found these benefits as well.
