Why You Should Get Rid of Your Old Clothes?

Women tend to keep at least a pair of too-small clothes for many years. Few of them may even be brand-new, making it as an inspiration to lose weight. Survey finds that there are actually less women who really make it to wear the too-small clothes. Others simply keep it. Here are some reasons on why keeping such small clothes can hurt you in several ways.


Low Self Worth: Looking at S or an XS clothes can make you feel that your current health and size is not ideal, which is detrimental to your self-worth and may load you up with low esteem. Constant measuring of your body will rob you of the happiness of living for today and accept the person that you are right now.

Unsafe Practices: It is not common to see women taking extreme steps to get rid of those pounds through unsafe diet and other unhealthy practices. This will simply lead you to other serious health complications. Think if those clothes are really worth your health.

Focus on Shortcomings: Accept the way you look and feel today. This will give place to positive feelings and will prevent thoughts on negative body image. Focusing on shortcoming will lead to more stress, anxiety and gives rise to even suicidal thoughts. It is a wrong notion to think that being skinny is healthy. It is wise to measure your health than measuring the size of the body.
