i have seen avocado in varkey's super market cochin...but there, this is known as 'butter fruit'....45 rs per one....

yes it is an expensive chutny...even here in US it is costly...but during season we get cheap.

Wow....I have an avocado tree in my backyard which gives lots of Avocadoes each year...I usually ask our gardener to pluck them and take them...Now with this wonderful recipe, I am going to see if I can use some of them....Thanks for sharing......

thatz great...try the recipe and give me the FB.Avocado is very nutritious...make use of it ...can make sandwich adding tomato,cheese slice and cucumber...give it a try.

Hi latharaj

Avacados are my one favourite. They are good as salad vegitable, sandwich ingredient, excellent for side dishes, mostly I take their pulp scrapped out and use it instead of butter to spread on my bread toast

I want to thank u for an excellent and simple receipe for dosa chutney as Dosa is a regular breakfast at our home esp wk-ends.
