please help me.......... please save my life

    Treatment for mood disorders includes a variety of treatment plans. Medication is usually cumulative and it takes a period of time (3 -6 weeks) before you see any significant changes. There are various anti-depressants and they don't work the same for everybody. So you may have to try one medication for 3 weeks to see if it really has an effect on your mood. If it doesn't then you have to let the doctor know and change the meds. This is because people's physiology is so different. Other factors (like eating problems) also affect which medicine works for the individual. As others have mentioned, anti-depressants come with side effects. Another thing to remember is that just when the medication starts to work (the stage where you start to get more energy than before), people are more vulnerable to thoughts of suicide. If you do take medication, please inform those in your house to watch out for you.
    • Medicines are used to control the mood. They do not eliminate them. Once they help stabilize a person's mood, there are other aspects to the treatment which teach coping skills.
    • Therapy-CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) is helpful for a lot of people.
    • Exercise releases endorphins-which make us feel happy. Half an hour of brisk exercise, slowly leading up to more is another aspect of the treatment.
    • Diet is also important. Lots of green leafy vegetable and fish (if you eat seafood) are proven to help-the folic acid and the omega 3 are good mood stabilizers. On the other side, soda, coffee-anything with caffeine play havoc with sleep patterns and affect mood.
    • Enjoy any creative art-music, drawing...whatever takes your interest. Set realistic goals-15 mts initially, increase the time gradually.
    • join a club-for any activity-book club, bhajans or anything else. The idea is to be with other people doing an activity that you like. At the beginning it will be difficult to feel motivated. But as time goes by you will see a change.
    • Regulate your sleep-no computers, talking on cell phones, watching tv 2-3 hours before bedtime. set your room ready for sleep-no flourescent lamps (tubelights) get a reading lamp which doesn't shine light into your eyes. Read, do some breathing excercises...all calming activities.
    • Try to form a routine...start with few items on your dayplanner and then increase the chores you have to do.
    • Seek professional help immediately. Do the people around you know you have suicidal thoughts? Let someone know and ask for help in finding professional services.
    • Set a dealine by which you will do the big 'asking for help' items-eg, I will call the psychiatrist for an appointment by this evening.
    Mood disorders can be controlled with the right help.

    Please go in for hypno therapy by a good expert who can clean your mind clear. It will take 5 to 6 sessions it depends but you have to continue till the last and you will get ready step by step without medicine. Do not hear what other people say about this this is wonderful for mental problems. THIS IS SATHYAM
