Homocysteine higher

    My mother aged 53 years has homocysteine level of 22.4 micromol/l . She started getting clots in her veins . What is the reason for the increased homocysteine level. How to control the homocysteine level ?
    Any good doctors in chennai to handle this sort of problems ?
