    Hi,
my test results say i have hyper thyroid.
I just delivered a baby, and the doctor said hyper thyroid comes sometimes affter delivery, and then after few weeks, hypo thyroid and then it will go away if i take proper medication

now my questions to persons vinng hte same situation are
1)will it go away after few months as the doc said? if not how long will it stay
2)iam breastfeeding, will it affect the milk?
3)what are the concequences of hyper and hypo thyroid?
4)wht should be done to make it go away?
    5)will it cause hair fall?

    hello,

i am also hyperthyroid but still dont have a baby yet.
u could probably tell ur doc that u r nursing so that they can take caution prescribing medicines for u.
i noticed severe hair loss, weight loss, fatigue b4 i was diagnosed...
did several blood tests and 1 US scan and 1 thyroid uptake scan....
I have a final appointment with the doc on monday and will let u know...

Hyperthyroidism is a disorder that occurs when the thyroid gland makes more thyroid hormone than the body needs.:hide:
