Please suggest Best Doctor for Mouth Ulcers

Hi friends,

My hubby is always suffering from mouth ulcers. He will be getting ulcers in the mouth regularly. we checked with many doctors but it is only temporary relief.
Iam not sure which doctor we have to check .We tried with general physician,even homeopathy ...

Please can some one suggest some good doctor for mouth ulcers.Whom to consult (Specialist for this)
It would be great help if you suggest some good doctor and some suggestion.

sorry to hear.

i don't know any particular doctor.

few suggestions from personal experience
- to check if it's related to acidity, consult a gastroenterologist.

- if it's related to stress/worries, 30+minutes of speed walking/jogging everyday is must

- apply Kenacort 0.1 ointment (it's a small tube, not sure if i spelled it correctly, but you can verify at any pharmacy in india) to the canker sores (mouth ulcers)

PS: do a search at HEALTH ISSUES forums, there are couple of questions/answers about mouth-ulcers.

Hi Kavya,
Don't know about doctors for that. But, mouth ulcers are often due to Vitamin B12 deficiency. Try giving him B-complex and riboflavin tablets for 2 to 3 days (since they are vitamin tablets, its absolutely safe to use). If it reduces, it means it was due to vitamin deficiency and you can take care of it in future.
