Hahahahaha... Finally Sethu = Madhavan.... I had that doubt earlier.... But then, since Madhavan from sophisticated, educated etc..... I left it....

Richard Bach says that we have several alternate selves for us - one growing to be the King of the land, the other a sage, yet another a robber. In one of his books he makes his character meets its alternate self. The words exchanged between the realised self and the would have been self were quite profound. This Sethu=Madhavan is a very small variant of that.

Now dont tell me you are going to give tragic ending to Priya.... What did she do.... All the time thinking for the growth and well being of Madhavan..... Pls dont do that..........

While I give my commitment that I will earnestly try not to be harsh to Priya, I also have to add, that at this stage I can't commit anything about the results. So keep guessing please.

Normally, I dont watch tragedy movies.... In our real life, we are facings so many tragedies/unhappiness day in and day out.... The entertainment for which we are watching a movie.... why should that also be a tragedy....

Now I am going to come behind you for not to end Priya....

It's the same case with me too. My wife saw Paruthi Veeran 5 times. And she wants me to see it at least once. I asked her whether the end was tragic. When she replied in the affirmative. I refused to see. Now she is promising me money and other precious goodies to see the movie once with her, at least the CD version of it. But I couldn't.

But Veda Vyasan, you and I should see this point. All great works are tragedies. If you had read Shakespeare's works you will note that his tragedies like Macbeth, Hamlet, Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra have a far greater depth than his comedies. Why go that far? Mahabaratha is a tragedy of gigantic proportions. I still feel Pandavas would have been better off living as mendicants in the forest with their family intact instead of losing all their offspring in the great war. But still it teaches lessons sufficient to pull us through a thousand lifetimes.

Let me hear your views on this.

Thanks. Nalini does know only a part of his past. Not everything. When Madhavan becomes Sethu he sports a beard and he comes in the scene after some time. Just remember this Sudha, he has absolutely no one from his past life. And the whole world is made to believe that Madhavan and Priya have died by accident.

Thanks for understanding my plight. An ILites real prayer should be not to save Priya or Sharada, but to save Varalotti fromt he dilemma.

A nice big sixer and a lofty shot at that is how I would like to view this episode. For someone who has had all the attention , power and money in his life Madhavan aka Sethu takes to such a simple life which is really amazing. I did not guess the connection at all. Both the timelines were going on their tracks and like Veda has said, Mahavan and Sethu are from two different backgrounds. Liked the waY the Swamiji calmly tells Sethu that he will take over the steering oF his life. Whether it will be a swerve towards Priya or Sharadha, Iam waiting to watch.
But with both Balki and Madhavan being affluent how is it that their paths never crossed?

Thanks. A second, special thanks for raising some pertinent questions in your fb, Janani. Here are what I think as answers.

For someone who has had all the attention , power and money in his life Madhavan aka Sethu takes to such a simple life which is really amazing.

A moot point. If things had been going well for Madhavan, if his company's turnover has been increasing and if he is making more and more money, then he would not have even dreamt of a life like this. But he has gone to the depths of despair. He has lost his wife, his company, his wealth, and even his identity. Destiny has wiped his slate perfectly clean. And on a clean slate you can easily write your life afresh, which was exactly what Madhavan did.

I did not guess the connection at all. Both the timelines were going on their tracks and like Veda has said, Mahavan and Sethu are from two different backgrounds.

Thanks for not guessing it. What Veda said and what you have endorsed is perfectly true. This happens in many lives. Take the case of Gandhi. His life as a lawyer and his life as a political leader are totally different. Or take somebody closer to home. Jayalalitha for instance. Her life as a dream girl in the seventies is absolutely different from her life as a politician and a CM. Compared to these Madhavan-Sethu difference was, I should say, much less. Sudha has remarked that I had not differentiated their lives enough.

Swamiji will not take that turn. Madhavan's car has been off the road. Swamiji takes the trouble of restoring it to the proper road. From there Madhavan would take over.

But with both Balki and Madhavan being affluent how is it that their paths never crossed?

Affluence does not mean acquaintance. In a city like Chennai there are thousands of affluent people who do not know each other. You see Madhavan has not even met his own company's lawyer, the Vulture. So it is quite possible that Madhavan and Balki had never met.

That was a clean sweep to the boundary for a FOUR .. cutting the slip and the wicket keeper. I was always flowing with your episode with no guess... So I am enjoying it thoroughly.. Great going indeed... Another four.. another four .. another four is the demand from this spectator...

I know Priya is where we left her last, that is in that vulture made clinic.
Madhavan had transformed into Sethu. So trying to ask what has happened to Priya..
